VibeZero did not appear out of the AI boom. The people behind it spent years on work where you do not get to ship and hope: systems thousands rely on, data that has to stay exactly where it belongs, and an auditor who eventually comes asking how you know any of it is safe.
That work ran across three sectors, and each one punishes shortcuts in its own way. Here is where VibeZero came from, and what every part of it drilled into how we build today.
Large-scale applications and web platforms for state government and not-for-profits. The kind real people reach for on a bad day, where an outage makes the news and a privacy slip is a genuine harm, not a support ticket.
Designing, building and running the plumbing behind government and enterprise systems. The unglamorous layer that simply has to work: hardened, monitored, recoverable, and documented well enough that the next person can keep it alive without a phone call.
Designing the technical security controls, writing the governance, risk and compliance policies behind them, then standing in the room when they get audited. Being secure is one thing. Being able to prove it, on paper, to someone whose whole job is to doubt you, is a different skill entirely.
For the worst case, not the demo. The way it behaves at 2am matters more than how it looks in a pitch.

So it outlives whoever built it. The next person keeps it alive without a phone call.
