This policy explains what information VibeZero collects when you use this website, how we use and protect it, the cookies and analytics we run, and how you can access, correct or complain about your information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

01

Who we are

VibeZero is an AI consultancy based in Victoria Park, Western Australia, working with small and medium businesses across Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean VibeZero. "You" means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.

You can reach us at howdy@vibe0.com.au for general matters, or for privacy and compliance matters at compliance@vibe0.com.au.

02

Information we collect

We only collect information we genuinely need. That includes:

  • Information you give us through our forms: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and whatever you write in your message. On the free audit form we also collect the URL of your application, a description of what it does, and which tools you built it with.
  • Information collected automatically when you browse: your approximate location (derived from your IP address), the pages you view, the links you click, your device and browser type, and how you move through the site. This comes from the analytics tools described below.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as set out in the cookies section.

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health, racial or political information) through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us in a form message.

03

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them, and similar tools, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use them to sell your data or to build advertising profiles. The table below lists the cookies and similar technologies this site uses.

The analytics tools we use are Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) and Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft). Clarity also records anonymised session replays and heatmaps to show how visitors interact with pages; it masks text input by default. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then work less smoothly.

04

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver the services you ask for;
  • understand how the site is used and improve its content, structure and performance;
  • keep the site and our forms secure and free from spam and abuse;
  • meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not add you to a marketing list from a website enquiry without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

05

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can perform their function. These include our website host (Vercel), our analytics providers (Google and Microsoft), our form security provider (Cloudflare), and our email provider. Each handles your information under its own terms and security controls.

We may also disclose information where we are required or authorised to by law.

06

Overseas disclosure

Some of the providers above store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States. In line with Australian Privacy Principle 8, we take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the APPs. By using this site you acknowledge that your information may be stored or processed overseas.

07

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, in line with Australian Privacy Principle 11. That includes encryption in transit (HTTPS across the whole site), access controls, bot protection on our forms, and limiting the information we collect and keep in the first place. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to industry-standard practices and keep the information we collect to a minimum.

08

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, plus any period we are required to keep it for legal or tax reasons. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

09

Accessing and correcting your information

Under Australian Privacy Principles 12 and 13, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong or out of date. Email compliance@vibe0.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first. There is normally no charge to make a request.

10

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can put it right. Email compliance@vibe0.com.au with the details and we will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it promptly.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or obligations change. The current version always lives at this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. Material changes will be reflected here.
