Perth's AI partner

VibeZero builds and deploys practical AI tools for Perth and WA businesses, on-site across the metro. We are Perth-based and work in the sectors that drive the WA economy: mining, oil and gas, construction, agriculture and trades.

About Perth

WA's resource engine, our home base

VibeZero is headquartered in Perth because this is where the industries we know best are run from.

Perth is the operating centre of Australia's resources sector. The CBD and West Perth house the corporate offices of the world's largest iron ore, gold and lithium producers, while the Pilbara, Goldfields and North West Shelf operations are managed from here on AWST. Mining and resources account for roughly 40 per cent of WA's gross state product and the majority of its export income. The WA Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) Act 2024 came into full force on 1 July 2026, creating new compliance obligations for public sector agencies handling personal data. Businesses across mining services, construction and professional services are also increasing data governance scrutiny in response. AI solutions in WA need to account for DEMIRS oversight, NOPSEMA requirements for offshore operations, and WorkSafe WA obligations on site. We understand these realities because we work in them every day.

01bWhy Perth

Home turf, not a fly-in market

Below the ASX-listed miners, Perth's economy is carried by a much larger layer of small and mid-sized businesses: drilling and earthmoving contractors in Osborne Park and Welshpool, engineering and METS (mining equipment, technology and services) firms scattered through Bibra Lake and Canning Vale, and the trades, logistics and professional services outfits that keep the whole supply chain running. These are businesses with 5 to 50 staff, tight margins, and an owner who is usually also the one fielding client calls. They do not have an in-house data team, and most have never had an AI tool built for how they actually work, as opposed to a generic SaaS dashboard bolted on top.

Being headquartered in Perth rather than visiting changes what is practical to deliver. We can sit in a site office in Welshpool on a Tuesday and be back for a follow-up on the Thursday, at Perth rates, with no flight or hotel line item on the invoice. It also means we absorbed the PRIS Act 2024 compliance shift as it happened rather than reading about it after the fact, and we know which of our own clients' government-facing contracts it actually touches. For a Perth SMB, that is the difference between a consultant who understands the business on the first call and one who needs the first two sessions just to catch up.

The gap

WA is booming, AI support isn't

What Perth businesses need

  • AI tools built for mining, FIFO and resources workflows, not generic office use cases
  • Local consultants who understand DEMIRS, NOPSEMA and WorkSafe WA
  • PRIS Act-ready data handling for WA public sector and regulated industries
  • On-site training and workshops for Perth and regional WA teams
  • Fixed-price engagements that fit SMB and mid-tier operator budgets

What most are still doing!

  • !Hiring east-coast consultancies at inflated day rates who fly in and out
  • !Trying to adapt generic AI tools to FIFO roster and shift-based operations
  • !Waiting for their ERP vendor to add AI features at some point
  • !Paying for strategy decks that never turn into working tools
  • !Ignoring the PRIS Act 2024 obligations that took effect 1 July 2026

FAQ

Perth AI consulting FAQ

Yes. VibeZero is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. We are not an east-coast firm with a Perth address. We live and work here on AWST, and we deliver on-site across the metro area.

Yes. WA mining operations are regulated by DEMIRS (Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety) and offshore petroleum by NOPSEMA. Workplace safety across all industries falls under WorkSafe WA. Any AI tool we build for a resources or mining services business is designed with these obligations in mind from the start.

The Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) Act 2024 is WA state privacy legislation that came into full effect on 1 July 2026. It applies primarily to WA public sector agencies, though it also affects how those agencies share data with private sector suppliers. If your business holds contracts with WA government or handles data on their behalf, PRIS Act compliance will matter to you. We have a full write-up at /blog/ai-pris-act-wa-government.

Yes, by arrangement. We cover Perth metro on-site and can travel to regional WA for larger engagements in the Pilbara, Goldfields, South West and Mid West regions. Remote delivery is available for most project types.

Perth economics, not Sydney or Melbourne overheads. You get the same quality of work without the inflated day rates that come with a CBD office on the eastern seaboard. We provide fixed pricing on every project so there are no surprises.
