About Perth
WA's resource engine, our home base
VibeZero is headquartered in Perth because this is where the industries we know best are run from.
Perth is the operating centre of Australia's resources sector. The CBD and West Perth house the corporate offices of major iron ore, gold and lithium producers, while the Pilbara, Goldfields and North West Shelf operations are managed from here on AWST. Most privacy provisions of the WA Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) Act 2024 commenced on 1 July 2026 for WA public sector entities, including some contracted service providers where the contract brings them into scope. The notifiable information breach provisions commence on 1 January 2027. Our PRIS Act note explains the staged commencement. Resources projects may also carry DMPE, NOPSEMA, WorkSafe WA or contract requirements depending on the operator and activity. We design around the requirements the client confirms with its authorised advisers.
Why Perth
Home turf, not a fly in market
Below the ASX listed miners, Perth's economy is carried by a much larger layer of small and mid-sized businesses, among them drilling and earthmoving contractors in Osborne Park and Welshpool, engineering and METS (mining equipment, technology and services) firms scattered through Bibra Lake and Canning Vale, and the trades, logistics and professional services outfits that keep the whole supply chain running. These are businesses with 5 to 50 staff, tight margins, and an owner who is usually also the one fielding client calls. They do not have an in house data team, and most have never had an AI tool built for how they actually work, as opposed to a generic SaaS dashboard bolted on top.
Being headquartered in Perth rather than visiting changes what is practical to deliver. We can scope a workshop in Welshpool, return for a floor walk or review and keep the same team involved through handover. It also means the PRIS Act 2024, WA government contracting and resources sector context are part of the discovery conversation rather than an afterthought. The exact legal and regulatory boundary still comes from the client and its authorised advisers.
